Mas du Relais dates back to the 17th century, when it was originally a postal relay station. It is located close to the village of Le Thor which is 3 km away, whilst the pretty market town of L'Isle sur la Sorgue, famous for its antique shops, is 7 km away and Avignon, the City of Popes is 14 km from the property.

The mas is set in 1.5 hectares of land with distant views of the imposing hilltop Chateau of Thouzon and the grounds include cherry, apple, apricot, plum and olive trees. Scents of lavender, rosemary, and the songs of cicadas soothe one in this warm, sunny and calm retreat. Some 30 metres to the front of the mas the infinity pool of 17 x 5 m is welcoming, as are the 3 gazebos, the grange and open barn that have been converted into a games area, summer kitchen and lounge. To the front of the property sit two 300-year-old plane trees, under which one can dine in the shade and enjoy absolute peace and quiet.
