Overlooking one of the 5 most beautiful bays in the world, the stunning, villa set into the hills above Villefranche-sur-mer has luxury accommodation for up to 10 people and argueably the region's best panoramic views from St Jean Cap Ferrat out to the Esterel mountains.
Secure gates lead up the driveway with parking for 8 cars or more. From here guests experience begins, accessing the villa by a glass lift. The lift sweeps down from the parking bay to the villa hidden in the trees providing exquisite 180 views. The first stop is the breathtaking infinity pool level with heated swimming pool and grassed terraces with sunloungers and mesmerising views over the Cote d'azur. Down a few steps there is the gym and outdoor yoga area.
Further down through the rockface, the glass lift arrives at the main villa entrance. The doors slide open into a rock walkway leading to the front door which opens into a sudden burst of light. The entrance hallway, with floor to ceiling windows, provides exciting glimpses of internal and external levels framing the extraordinary views. To the right of the entrance and up a few stairs is the dining and kitchen area. A very social space with seating for up to 10 guests and floor to ceiling windows with a 007 sliding wall accessing the outdoor dining terrace for 10 people. This terrace has an automatic sun blind which extends over the terrace to keep it shaded from the summer sun and, with wall heaters, in the sunny winter months to keep the terrace cosy. Stairs from this terrace connect to the swimming pool terrace and one of several garden terraces with more tables and seating, perfect for a quiet morning coffee while conteplating the light changing over the Cote d'Azur. The fully-equipped kitchen, is super modern with Miele and Neff appliances. The utility room, to the side of the kitchen, with the Fridge/Freezer and icemaker, has a separate access for chefs and staff.
From the entrance hallway and down a few steps is the living room with comfortable seating and floor to ceiling windows on three sides which frame the large mediterranean pines trees and magical views looking out over Chateau Leopolda and stretching from St Jean Cap Ferrat out to the Baie des Anges, in Nice . Wall doors slide open onto the garden terrace with sunloungers and the jacuzzi. A staircase connects with the outdoor dining terrace.
From the entrance hallway and down a staircase leads to the fully air-conditioned bedroom wing with 3 of 5 bedrooms on this level. One of two master bedrooms is the Exotic bedroom, a 30m2 room with floor to ceiling windows, a king-sized bed, TV and fitted cupboards. A dressing room leads into its spacious ensuite. The second master has a king-sized bed, floor to ceiling windows, a separate seating area with TV and ensuite. The third bedroom has a king-sized bed, floor to ceiling windows, TV, fitted cupboards and an office and outdoor terrace, with ensuite. Down a few steps are two further bedrooms. The Treetop bedroom, with fitted cupboards, TV and a 240cm bed enclosed by glass walls on two sides and glass ceiling with views of the pine tree canopy, sky and the mediterranean, has its own ensuite. A truely unique experience. The fifth bedroom has a king-sized bed, fitted cupboards, TV with its own ensuite and stairs leading down to the laundry room. All five bedrooms have high quality ensuites with rain shower rooms, a large sink and loo.
The result is a unique place where the sun, sea views, and idyllic natural surroundings truly flow together.
The villa is air-conditioned throughout, with under floor heating, iPod docking station and music system. We do not recommend this villa for families with young children.
